Last class...

In this class, I learned that how to study English by reading the books, but also I learned that reading articles and listening music with lyrics, and watching dramas and movies with subtitles are good.

I'm gonna study english through reading books and articles and watching dramas and movies... then I'd like to learn English.
This is what I learn in this class.

Interesting!!!

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3060907/Black-parents-give-birth-to-white-baby.html

Black parents...white baby
from The Sun

'What the flip?'"
like what the hell...

But as the baby's older brother and sister - both black - crowded round the "little miracle" at their home in South London, Ben declared: "Of course she's mine."

Blue-eyed blonde Nmachi, whose name means "Beauty of God" in the Nigerian couple's homeland, has baffled genetics experts because neither Ben nor wife Angela have ANY mixed-race family history.

Pale genes skipping generations before cropping up again could have explained the baby's appearance.

He said: "In mixed race humans, the lighter variant of skin tone may come out in a child - and this can sometimes be startlingly different to the skin of the parents.

The expert said some unknown mutation was the most likely explanation.

I didn’t know about albino, is

http://www.paropunte.net/archives/974425.html

Finally, parents said "All that matters is that she's healthy and that we love her. She's a proud British Nigerian."
It makes me warm feeling.

Ref Webb:My final hell

I was reading the sun when I was studying Australia, but since I came back to Japan, I didn't read it ever... today I tried to read it and found my favorite article.

It was the most difficult two hours of my career. I am physically and emotionally drained but FIFA have been very supportive - not just about the final but our performances throughout the whole tournament.

But FIFA chief Sepp Blatter did not exactly give a resounding vote of confidence to Webb, who showed 14 yellow cards and sent off Holland's Johnny Heitinga.

World cup was really excited the people like me, but there are problems like misjudgment.. but there are the referees like this article...I understood a part of the background.

Flowers for Algernon

Do you know this story?I watched it before on TV, but I didnt really watch it.Now I start reading the book quite seriously.

From progress report2-March4

And a nice man was in one of the rooms and he had some white cards with ink spilled all over them.

I dont understand the last part.
spilled all over them means like インクで書かれた?

I really tried to see.I held the card up close and then far away.

held~up close and then far away:近付けたり離したりし続けた

I bet I find it now.

I said I pretend a bottle of ink spilled all over a white card.
This mean

Charlie is kind of slow adults, but his life may change from now...

Last week...My favorite song!!!

Last week, I was listening this song it called Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne.
When I was listening that song,I was wondering what it means and it made me interesting. I thought that I wanna know what it means exactly, so today's my favorite song is Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne.

Sk8er Boi

http://www.elyrics.net/read/a/avril-lavigne-lyrics/skater-boy-lyrics.html

He wanted her, she'd never tell
Secretly she wanted him as well
But all of her friends, stuck up their nose
They had a problem with his baggy of clothes

He was a skater boy, she said, "See ya later boy"
He wasn't good enough for her, she had a pretty face
But her head was up in space
She needed to come back down to earth

her head was up in space≒浮かれてのぼせている、彼女は高慢で
come back down to earth=(夢見心地から)地に足を着ける、(浮かれ気分から)現実の世界に戻る

Five years from now, she sits at home
Feeding the baby, she's all alone
She turns on TV, guess who she sees
Skater boy rocking up MTV

Lyrics is pretty difficult to study English, because it is poetry sometimes, so if I study English I should study a lot of kind of things.

We are the world!!!

This is my favorite song!!!
I wanna know what it means, so today I try to find it^^★

"We're The World (USA For Africa)"

There comes a time when we heed a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
and it's time to lend a hand to life
There greatest gift of all

We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of God's great big family
And the truth, you know,
Love is all we need

[Chorus:]
We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
it's true we'll make a better day
Just you and me

Send them your heart so they'll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand

[Chorus]

When you're down and out, there seems no hope at all
But if you just believe there's no way we can fall
Let us realize that a change can only come
When we stand together as one
